SAE Project(s)
I have two main SAE's. The first is working on Breezy Beach Farm, BBF is a 150 head farm of Hampshire, Suffolk, and crossbreed sheep. My SAE started three years ago when I started working there. I do various farm work, anywhere from spraying fence, cutting wood, or helping out in lambing season. Typically, I spend about 25-30 hours a week with this project. My second project is showing and selling market lambs at the Rockingham County Fair. This year is my fourth year showing, but I plan on showing in the years to come with my commercial sheep. I typically spend an hour everyday feeding and another hour walking them.

Favorite CDE or LDE
Poultry Judging, poultry has actually been the only contest that I've done every year since I joined in 7th grade. My favorite part of the contest is judging the live birds. My team actually placed 2nd in the 2019 VA State Contest and got to travel to the BIG E and compete. Oh, we placed first!

Favorite FFA memory
By far the best memory was seeing Garth Brooks at National Convention. For anyone who knows me (and others will soon know) I'm mega Garth fan and to see a show by him for $50, it was worth it!

Future Plans
After this year, I'm going to attend Virginia Tech in the Agriculture Technology program. I plan to transfer to the Animal and Poultry Sciences Department and Minor in Animal Nutrition. After that, I plan to return to Rockingham County and become a Poultry Service Technician or work in Feed Nutrition.
