Virginia FFA offers a wide variety of Career and Leadership Development Events (CDEs and LDEs) throughout the year. These events challenge FFA members in grades 7–12 to develop critical thinking, decision-making, teamwork, and communication skills while recognizing the value of ethical competition and individual achievement. Opportunities are available at the local, state, and national levels.
All competitors are required to have a signed Student/Parent Agreement and Emergency Waiver. Those are to be completed in AET. See the Digital Toolkit on the Advisor Resources page for information about how to complete this.
Virginia FFA is committed to providing reasonable accommodations that allow students to participate fully in Career and Leadership Development Events and State FFA Award programs.
The FFA advisor is responsible for submitting a detailed written request describing the accommodation needed and the reason for the request.
All contests follow the Virginia Competitive Event Guidelines
