Virginia FFA Foundation Surpasses $1 Million Revenue Milestone, Boosted by Rockingham Petroleum's Fuel Up for FFA Program and Record-Breaking Blue Carpet Gala
HARRISONBURG, VA – December 8, 2025
The Virginia FFA Foundation is proud to announce a historic achievement: surpassing $1 million in revenue during the 2025 fiscal year. This milestone marks a pivotal moment in the Foundation’s mission to support Virginia FFA members and ensure the sustainability of agricultural education for the next century. Key to reaching this landmark was Rockingham Petroleum's annual $25,000 donation through its Fuel Up for FFA program, which officially pushed cumulative contributions past the $1 million mark, highlighting the company's enduring commitment to fostering the next generation of agricultural leaders. Adding to this success, the Foundation's annual Blue Carpet Gala, held this past weekend at Hotel Madison in Harrisonburg, grossed over $140,000, a new Gala record, further propelling the organization's fundraising efforts.
The majority of contributions this year have been directed toward endowment funds, strengthening the Foundation’s ability to provide scholarships, leadership development opportunities, and program support for thousands of FFA members across the Commonwealth. These investments will serve as a permanent funding resource, ensuring that Virginia FFA remains strong and vibrant for generations to come.
“I can’t think of a better way to kick off our centennial celebration than with a million dollar year. Our endowment program is successful thanks to dedicated donors who want to make a long term investment in Virginia FFA. Partners like Rockingham Petroleum have paved the way for innovative ways to support our members and we were thrilled to include them in this big announcement,” said Executive Director Jennifer Armstrong.
The Virginia FFA Foundation’s success reflects the generosity of donors, alumni, agricultural partners, and community supporters who believe in the power of agricultural education. Their commitment ensures that students will continue to access transformative experiences such as leadership conferences, career development events, and hands-on agricultural learning for the next 100 years of the organization.
