SAE Project(s)
All throughout high school I raised market steers and hogs to sell at my county fair. Recently I started working at the local pork processing facility, where I process and package pork and deliver across Virginia. This is my main SAE, and it has taught me the true meaning of farm to table, while seeing the true passion farmers have for feeding America.

Favorite CDE or LDE
Its a tie between Meats Judging and Public Speaking. Meats was the first contest I was introduced too, and I worked hard at it all throughout high school which allowed me to have an intern at the meat house! Public speaking is something I used to hate, so looking back I am so proud of how much I've grown and I've learned to appreciate it!

Favorite FFA memory
My answer would have been WLC, but now it would definitely be having this opportunity to be a state officer. I have loved this organization since the moment I knew about it, and to be able to have the opportunity to meet FFA members from all across the state is something I am so excited about! Everyone that I met along the way helped make this my favorite FFA memory.

Future Plans
I am planning on going to Bridgewater next fall and finishing up my core classes, with my main goal being a lawyer who specializes in agriculture issues. I am also considering being an agriculture teacher - somewhere in the ag field I know that much!
