Event Overview

The State 4-H and FFA Meats Evaluation Contest provides youth with the opportunity to demonstrate knowledge and practical skills related to meat identification, grading, and evaluation.

Entry Fees:
$15 per contestant (single contest)
$20 per contestant (dual-entered youth)
Lunch will be provided for all contestants.
All contestants must provide their own frock, hair net, and hard hat. These are required to enter the meats lab and are not provided by contest administration.

Monday, February 17, 2026 at 5:00 PM
