2025 Contest Information
The Floriculture Career Development Event is held at the Virginia FFA State Convention.

Location: TBD
Date: Tuesday June 10, 2025 and Wednesday June 11th
Time: Meet TBD

Arrangement Scenario Guidelines for 2025:

Your school is celebrating the retirement of a beloved faculty member who has dedicated over 30 years to teaching and mentoring students. As the senior designer in your school's floral and greenhouse shop, your advisor has requested that you create a centerpiece design for the retirement luncheon. This centerpiece will be the focal point of the event, symbolizing the faculty member's years of service and the impact they've had on the school community. You have the creative freedom to use any products you like in the design.

Eligibility
Active FFA members from the same chapter in grades 7-12 may constitute a team of four members.

 2025 Team Advancement
There will be a preliminary round and an advancement round to this year's event. This may occur over one day or two (TBD). Arrangements and/or other practicum activities will be completed during the advancement stage ("Day 2") of the event.
