Parliamentary Procedure      
OVERVIEW
During the Parliamentary Procedure LDE, teams conduct a mock chapter meeting to demonstrate their knowledge of basic parliamentary law and the correct use of parliamentary procedures.



EVENT LOCATION & TIME 
Parliamentary Procedure & Conduct of Chapter Meetings State LDEs will be held on Friday, March 6, 2026 at Blue Ridge Community College in Weyers Cave, Virginia. Teams will be assigned a time to perform after registration closes. We plan to start the contest at @ 1:00 PM. 

2026 Information
Registration DUE Friday, February 27th. 

Contest Fee: $150 per team (includes a meal for competing team members, one advisor, and volunteer judge for Conduct of Chapter Meetings). Extra meals will be $20 a person (alternates, additional advisors, bus drivers, etc.). 

Please note: Each Conduct of Chapter Meetings Team is responsible for bringing a judge that will represent their chapter at the state event.

ELIGIBILITY
Conduct of Chapter Meetings: A team will consist of 7 member from the same chapter in 7th or 8th grades.
Parliamentary Procedure: A team will consist of 6 members from the same chapter, from 9th-12th grades.
