Lodging: 2026 Group Rate – $190.00 per room
Reservations are processed through the Capitol Day registration form.
Breakfast is provided for those staying the night.

Lodging & Parking Details
Hotel Parking: $25/night. Height limit: 6'6".
Cars, vans & minibuses: May park in nearby garages or surface lots.
Full-sized buses: Require City of Richmond permits + signage (requested 3+ days prior).

Meals & Lunch Information
Breakfast: Provided by the hotel for overnight guests.
Lunch on January 22: Boxed lunch for $15 per person.
Advisors should set aside a lunch for their chapter representative.
Dress Code
What to Wear
- Official FFA Dress is required for all students.
- No hats and no jeans.
- Ensure dress meets all official standards.
- Advisors: Business casual or professional attire.

What to Bring
- Notebook or padfolio + pen.
- Leave bulky bags on the bus or at hotel.
- Bring a snack; lunch is around 1:15 PM.
- Optional: Schedule Capitol tours (1:00–4:00 PM).

The following schedule is based on the 2025 event and is provided as a planning guide.
Training Session 1
8:00 – 8:35 a.m.
- Orientation – Homewood Suites Conference Room
9:00 – 11:20 a.m.
- Visits with Delegates/Senators
Training Session 2
9:00 – 9:30 a.m.
9:45 – 11:20 a.m.
- Visits with Delegates/Senators
All Participants
11:30 a.m.
- Report to Senate or House Chamber.
11:45 a.m.
- Boxed lunch distribution.
12:20 p.m.
- Escort to Homewood Suites or Capitol Steps.
1:00 p.m.
- Group photo at Capitol Building Steps.
Optional Capitol tours available from 1:00–4:00 PM.
Make-Up Advocacy Training
Students who were unable to attend the November trainings have a final opportunity
to prepare for Capitol Day.
Additional Training Opportunity
Wednesday, January 21, 2026 | 7:00–9:00 PM
Held at the Homewood Suites conference space.

- $0 if student was originally registered but did not attend.
- $20 per student if not originally registered.
- Covers facilitator, training materials, and venue rental.
