Lawn Tractor Operators
OVERVIEW
The Lawn Tractor Operators contest allows participants to safely demonstrate their ability to
operate a riding lawn mower. Students are also tested on their knowledge of lawn mower parts
and basic maintenance.
EVENT LOCATION & TIME
The Lawn Tractor Operators contest will be held at the Virginia State Fair. Specific days and times will be announced at a later date.
ELIGIBILITY
Each county/club/city is invited to enter ONE contestant (limited to the first 25
contestants). Contestants must be between 13 and 18 years of age on January 1st in order to be
eligible to compete.
