Middle School Agriscience Plant Science
OVERVIEW
The Plant Science event is designed to introduce students to the growth process and development
of a variety of plants used in the agricultural and horticultural industries. The event includes
activities related to identification, planting, general plant care and science of plant growth and
development.
EVENT LOCATION & TIME
The Middle School Agriscience Mechanics contest will be held at Virginia FFA's 100th annual State Convention, in June of 2026.
ELIGIBILITY
Individuals or teams of 3-4 from grades 6-8 are eligible to compete.
