Middle School Agriscience Food and Fiber
OVERVIEW
The Food and Fiber event is designed to provide students an opportunity to explore the
agricultural industry with an emphasis on products created for consumer use and consumption.
Students will be able to determine the use and commercial importance of agricultural products
focusing on processing, distribution and marketing systems.
EVENT LOCATION & TIME
The Middle School Agriscience Mechanics contest will be held at Virginia FFA's 100th annual State Convention, in June of 2026.
ELIGIBILITY
Individuals or teams of 3-4 from grades 6-8 are eligible to compete.
