The Middle School Food & Fiber contest introduces students to agricultural products created for consumer use and consumption and the systems that move those products from agriculture to the consumer.

What Students Will Do

Students explore the use and commercial importance of agricultural products while developing an understanding of processing, distribution, and marketing systems.

Eligibility

Who Can Compete

Students in grades 6–8 may compete individually or as a team of 3–4 members.

The Middle School Food & Fiber contest will be held during the Virginia FFA State Convention in June 2026.
