87th State FFA Convention

This year the Virginia FFA Association celebrated its 87th State FFA Convention on June 24-27, 2013 at Virginia Tech. This year's convention was an exciting convention for members, advisors, and guests from all around the state. The Virginia convention sessions are held in Burruss Auditorium. Convention hosts over 2000 members and guests from all across the state.
Students will be competing in Career Development Events and workshops hosted by State Officers from other State Associations.

Please Examine the Schedule, as some times, room numbers, etc. have changed from previous years.
All individuals must fill out the following waiver form to compete. If this form is not brought with you to state convention, the team will automatically be disqualified.
2013 CDE Waiver Form
Please complete the National Agriscience Fair Application to Dan Swafford. Applications can be found at the National FFA Agriscience Web Page. All applications must be postmarked by June 15 to Dan Swafford.

Registration for the 2013 State Convention will be due June 1. The registration cost for students staying on campus will be $210 if in a double room, and $225 if in a single room. All payments for state convention must be received no later than June 8th, or a $100 late fee will be added to your invoice.
Please read all information contained in the registration form as we would like to recognize the appropriate individuals as coaches and to ensure that students names are not misspelled. Please also let us know if you or your students have any special needs, for example: handicap accessible, food allergies/requirements, diabetic (in need of insulin storage), etc.
